Most “best kitchen tool” articles are written by people who have never used the tools. You can tell, because they describe features instead of results.
These pages are the opposite. Each one takes a single job — getting an open crumb, browning a pizza base, holding a sauce together — and runs several tools through the same job under the same conditions. Then it reports what actually came out of the oven.
The standard for anything on this page:
- We used it. No page here is written from product listings, spec sheets, or other people’s reviews.
- Same test, same day, same dough. A comparison where the variables move around isn’t a comparison.
- The verdict is at the top. You shouldn’t have to read 1,200 words to find out which one won.
- Every page says who should skip the purchase. If the honest answer is “the thing you already own is fine,” that’s the answer we print.
- Nobody pays to be here. See the disclosure.
